Janet McIntyre is an American director | filmmaker | producer | painter with over 25 years of experience in the creative arts. She grew up in Chicago and studied painting at University of Illinois and film at New York University where she received her MFA. Her documentaries and short films have garnered top awards and been featured on Showtime, NBC’s NIGHTLINE, ABC News and film festivals around the world. Recently she has returned to painting. Her work portrays tales of yearning and memory, lost youth and found love. She lives in Portland, Oregon with her uncanny canine Brando, a constant source of joy.
